JOSE ANGEL BORREGO
EDINBURG – Jose Angel Borrego, 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his residence in Edinburg.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Adela Borrego.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carmen C. Borrego; 11 children, Maria Teresa (+David) Morales, Carmen Borrego (Alvaro), Angelita (Jesus) Zurita, Jose Angel (Cindy) Borrego Jr., Rosa (Jesse) Cantu, Estela (Samuel) Herrera, Ricardo (Dora) Borrego, Margarita (Charles) Salvia, Maria Isabel (Lisa) Borrego, Roberto Borrego, Rodolfo (Iris) Borrego; 30 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
