MARA YVETTE MARAVILLA

SAN JUAN - Mara Yvette Maravilla, 26, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at McAllen Heart Hospital. Born in McAllen, Mara had lived in San Juan all of her life. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ramiro and Enriqueta Longoria. Mara is survived by her parents, Raul and Evelia Maravilla; a brother, Juan Raul (Vanessa) Maravilla, all of San Juan; two nephews, Daniel and Douglas Barriere; paternal grandparents, Juan S. and Amelia Maravilla of Pharr; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves behind numerous pets, her fish, turtle and hamster; she was an avid animal lover. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, April 3, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
