CIRILA QUINTANILLA

McALLEN – Cirila Quintanilla, 62, died Monday, March 6, 2017, at her residence in McAllen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Quintanilla; her mother, Maria Reyes Gonzalez; and her father, Benito Moreno. Mrs. Quintanilla is survived by her three children, Noe Quintanilla, Sonia Quintanilla, Krystal Salazar, all of McAllen; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three sisters, Martha Herrera, Violeta Martinez, and Evangelina Moreno; seven brothers, Benito Moreno, Jr., Alvino Moreno, Leandro Moreno, Ramon Moreno, Andres Moreno, Norberto Moreno, and Jaime Gonzalez. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, March 10, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment followed at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
