Prize Patrols surprise teachers with Education Foundation grants

Students programing robots, working with 3-D printers, producing a daily newscast, getting expert chess lessons, visiting the world-famous Alamo: Those are just some of the many innovative teaching ideas teachers have come up with. The McAllen Education Foundation (MEF) helped turn those dreams into reality on Monday. Balloons, pins and oversized checks in hands, teams of MEF Prize Patrols surprised teachers in their classrooms with the good news.
