JOSE ANTONIO “TONY” LEDESMA

PHARR – Jose Antonio “Tony” Ledesma, 79, died Monday, July 11, 2016, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, he had lived in Pharr most of his life. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Rylee Joe Ledesma; and two sisters, Viviana Ledesma and Julia Turrubiates. Mr. Ledesma is survived by his wife, Rosaura Ledesma of Pharr; three sons, Martin (Perla) Ledesma of McAllen, David (Aleida) Ledesma of Asherton, Daniel (Jennifer) Ledesma of Pharr; eight grandchildren, Sasha, Becky, Greg, Ashley, Caitlin, Meagan, Justin, Ethan; two great-granddaughters, Yuvia and Desilynn; a brother, Diego Ledesma of San Juan; and a sister, Manuela Hernandez of Edinburg. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, on July 13 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
