Pharr Housing Authority: Two sides working on deal

EDINBURG -- The Pharr Housing Authority’s legal team met with the legal team representing former PHA Director Fernando Lopez Monday morning in State District Court (the 92nd) to try and hammer out a deal and avoid a lawsuit. Work out an agreement that both sides could live with and go home happy.
In the end, here’s what came out of it:
“The way I see it,” said Gustavo “Gus” Acevedo, who is representing Lopez, “the judge (Luis Singleterry) did order that Fernando be paid for the next three weeks.”
