EDINBURG — The swearing-in ceremony of incoming State District Judge Renee Rodriguez-Betancourt was held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at the Edinburg Auditorium, 415 W. University Drive, in Edinburg. At 34 years old, Rodriguez-Betancourt will hold the distinction of being the youngest district judge in the state of Texas, according to the Texas Judicial Branch.
