Was Councilman Jasso getting work from the city for recycling?

Question for Edinburg Councilman Homer Jasso Jr.: did he disclose to the city that he and his step-brother, Edward “Eddie” Johnson, had on file with the Secretary of State, a company, Santa Anita Recycles LLC, that was doing tire-recycling work for the city’s landfill?

A call to Jasso for answers wasn’t returned on Monday.

The company is located north of Edinburg on Hwy. 1017, west of Hwy. 281. The effective date of its signing with the state is April 2, 2016.
