The next time anyone runs into one of the RGV’s D.C.- based politicians – Ruben Hinojosa, Henry Cuellar, Filemon Vela, John Cornyn, Ted Cruz – please ask them why they’re allowing the drug manufacturers (Big Pharma) to jack up the price of prescription drugs to astronomical levels with no apparent rhyme or reason. Everywhere you look, the price of generic drugs is skyrocketing. Does your kid need meds to moderate his/ her epilepsy? Carbamazepine, for example? To control the seizures.
