The only one breathing easy tied to this year’s PSJA ISD election is Place 6 Trustee Victor Perez. He came away this year having met the desire of every incumbent known to man: no one chose to run against him. It’s uncommon, but it happens. In McAllen ISD’s election last year, “Danny” Vela drew no opposition either. This year’s race in PSJA is clearly a case of the establishment vs. the newcomers. Are PSJA registered voters happy with the status quo or do they want a change?
