Questions for county’s purchasing department

Hidalgo County’s purchase of 12 used trucks and vacuum trailers last fall for $1.44 million leads to some questions that the county’s purchasing department can hopefully answer when The Advance gets around to asking them.

The purchase of the trucks is intended to help the county clear up flooded areas if and when we are inundated with heavy rains. The 12 trucks and vacuum trailers were split among the four precincts: three each.
