Former Pharr City Commissioner Raul Gonzalez said it’s not a question of sour grapes – the slate he was supporting in the May 9th city commission election, Pharr Forward, didn’t win the whole enchilada (only three seats instead of four). But rather, it’s a question of whether the one candidate who won on the Pharr First slate, Mario Bracamontes, is actually a legal resident of Pharr.
