Police chief says FBI will help investigate

ALAMO – So far, the Alamo PD has only arrested three people related to an ongoing investigation into ties between organized criminal activity and city hall, but listening to Police Chief Baudelio Castillo, these initial arrests are just a tip of the iceberg.

To date, former Alamo Executive City Secretary/Interim City Secretary Crystal Denise Garza has been arrested and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Her boyfriend, Eddie Bernal Ramirez, has been arrested and charged with tampering of evidence, and so has Garza’s mother, Janine Lynn Garza. The tampering charges are related to Crystal Garza’s cell phone. It’s still MIA, and the chief believes that Ramirez and Janine Lynn Garza have helped facilitate its disappearance.

According to Castillo, however, the cell phone may be out of sight, but with a subpoena in hand, the Alamo PD can still gain access to Garza’s cell phone records, which will prove, according to the chief, that the former city secretary
