Pharr & PSJA ISD host groundbreaking ceremony for two city school parks

Parks include Phase 2 of Dr. William Long City School Park and New City School Park at Allen & William Arnold Elementary Featuring Splashpad
Pharr, Texas – The City of Pharr continues working to improve the quality of life for Pharr children and families, and together with the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District has placed an emphasis on increasing access to outdoor recreational play space. To commemorate the commencement of the addition of two new city/school parks through this partnership, a groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Officials from the City of Pharr and PSJA ISD were on hand to turn over the dirt, signifying the commencement of the project.
