Pharr police chief won’t confirm internal investigation into alleged gun violations

According to a confidential source inside the Pharr police department, there is an internal investigation underway into whether or not a junior firearms instructor recently violated departmental policy as well as state law by signing off on annual firearms proficiency forms for approximately four police officers without actually making them fire their respective service weapons.
