Pharr commissioners sworn into office

PHARR – At a special-called city commission meeting held after a regular meeting Monday evening, City of Pharr Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez, M.D. and Pharr city officials canvassed the results of the Pharr city election held on May 6, 2017, and declared the winning candidates - Roberto “Bobby” Carrillo for Place 2, Dr. Ramiro Caballero for Place 3, and Daniel Chavez for Place 4.

Upon the announcement of the results, the commissioners were sworn into office by separate officiants, took their place on the dais, and enjoyed a celebratory reception after the adjournment of the meeting with city officials, employees, families, and friends.
