Older Americans Month encourages older adults to connect with friends, family, and services that support participation. The 2019 theme: Connect, Create, Contribute motivates older adults to create by engaging in activities that promote learning, health, and personal enrichment.
Commissioners Court unanimously approved a proclamation recognizing that communities who encourage the contributions of older adults are stronger.
