Negative ads now accepted

Two years ago, The Advance News Journal implemented a new policy: we would no longer accept any negative political ads. They were taking too long to peruse to ensure that what was contained within was indeed accurate.

Positive ads are much easier: We are the best slate (candidate) this election because we:

“Are financially accountable, trustworthy, honest, upstanding, love puppy dogs and little kids, and we promise to…”
