There’s still talk in some McAllen coffee shops discussing the city’s Holiday Event – how much did it all cost, and was it worth it?
Last week, the city commission released the finance report that included the revenue and expenses for the Enrique Iglesias concert, which kicked off the Holiday Illuminated Parade, and the Christmas in the Park event (what used to be called the Candlelight Posada in Archer Park).
All told, the finance report (found on this column’s jump page) included: the Christmas Parade; Christmas in the Park; and the Stadium Promotion (the Iglesias concert).
