McAllen breaks ground on Park-n-Ride

McALLEN — The City of McAllen Transit Department broke ground last Thursday on a new parking facility on the corner of Austin and Bicentennial aimed at alleviating downtown traffic congestion. Visitors to the city’s downtown area may either park their vehicles and go about their downtown business on foot, or they may park and hop on board one of the city buses servicing two of Metro McAllen’s fixed routes.
