It would be nice if there was some good news to report about the human smuggling problem growing in our midst, but none is to be had. Record numbers continue to cross the Rio Grande River on a daily basis, approximately 1,000 per day now being apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol. The majority of them women and children.
