Edinburg CISD celebrates double-A rating

EDINBURG – Approximately 5,000 teachers, principals, staff and administrators cheered as Edinburg CISD Superintendent Dr. René Gutiérrez announced that the district had earned a double-A rating.
“We are very excited because we are an ‘A’ honor roll school district,” Gutiérrez said recently during the district’s General Assembly at the McAllen Convention Center.
