Daniela Zapata Crowned Miss Alamo 2019
ALAMO - The Alamo Chamber of Commerce-Miss Alamo Scholarship Pageant Committee on Sunday, February 17, hosted the Miss Alamo 2019 Scholarship Pageant at PSJA Memorial ECHS Roberto Gomez, Jr. Performing Arts Center --theme was “Girl Power.”
There were nine beautiful young ladies vying for the title of Miss Alamo 2019. Masters of Ceremonies were Aaron Lozano and Christina Vela; Invocation by Father Rene Angel; Pledge led by Alamo Ambassador 2018 Norah Carden; and colors presented by PSJA Memorial ECHS JROTC under the direction of Sgt. Rodriguez. City’s Welcome by Mayor Diana Martinez. Mayor Pro-Tem Robert De La Garza, Commissioners Pilar Garza and Trino Medina were also present. Chamber Welcome by Gloria Espinosa, President. Representing the PSJA School Board were Vice-President Jorge Palacios and Board Member Jesse Vela.
Personal interviews were held on Jan. 20th by judges Lori Solis, Odie Carden, Kristine Polanco and silent judge Kristina Espinosa.
