Muñiz resigns from two appointments

SAN JUAN -- During last week’s special called meeting, something unusual occurred: the city commission 3-2 majority flipped and voted down a motion to appoint former San Juan City Commissioner and current County Precinct 2 Chief Administrator Armando Garza to the SJ EDC.
On one side of the commission sits the mayor, Mario Garza; Mayor Pro Tem “Jesse” Ramirez; and Commissioner “Raudy” Maldonado.
