Alamo’s “El Ralph” Vicencio blasts Mayor Diana Martinez

ALAMO – Ralph “El Ralph” Vicencio sounded like he was fit to be tied when he called The Advance News Journal office Monday.
“Who put my name in The Advance (last week),” he wanted to know. He didn’t sound happy about it.
The story to which he was referring had to do with the recent removal of the city secretary by the Alamo City Commission majority. Alamo City Commissioner Trino Medina said that he had simply lost confidence in her abilities.
According to the Alamo city charter, the city secretary is an appointed position, and the city commission can re-call that appointment any time it so chooses.
