RGC native gains special experience on UT athletic training staff

A Rio Grande City native is gaining valuable experience toward a hoped-for sports medicine career through his involvement with several sports, including football, in the UT-Austin athletic training program. Oscar Garza, who recently completed his sophomore yearacademically at UT-Austin, is an Athletic Training major. He is the son of Baldemar and Araceli Garza and was the Rio Grande City High School Class of 2012 salutatorian.
