Rep. Longoria to recognize and honor Coach Robert Capello Sr. of Edcouch Elsa ISD on his milestone 1,000th career win
Edcouch, TX– Texas State Representative Oscar Longoria (HD-35) will present Edcouch-Elsa ISD Head Basketball Coach Robert Capello Sr. with a Texas State Resolution honoring his January 6, 2017 career milestone of winning his 1,000th game . The presentation will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, at the Robert M. Capello Sr. Gymnasium in Elsa, Tx.
“Coach Capello is truly an extraordinary, motivating, and inspirational coach and teacher to all,” said State Representative Oscar Longoria. “We are extremely proud of his many accomplishments and the positive attention he has garnered for the Rio Grande Valley through his hard work and dedication to the sport of basketball and the many young athletes he has inspired along the way. He is a true icon and legend and I am honored to recognize his legacy .”
