Vipers hoping take the best record in the league in to the post season

VIPERS

With a 31-16 record, the Vipers are in a tight race for the NBA G League’s best record this year and it’s something they can clinch on Saturday during their last regular season game against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Since starting out the season 6-6, the Vipers – the NBA affiliate for the Houston Rockets, have gone 25-10 and first year coach Joseph Blair has twice been named coach of the month.

But, the G League and its mother teams are known for moving players back and forth to the NBA team and elsewhere. Nobody knows what tomorrow’s lineup may be. Mix that in with normal injuries and lineups can be nothing more than a hodgepodge of different players in different positions.
