EDINBRUG — The Edinburg Vela Sabercats used a dominating overall performance, especially in the second half, to trounce the Roma Gladiators 49-10 in a District 30-5A battle in Edinburg Friday night. The game was competitive in the first half as the Gladiators tied the score 7-7 late in the first quarter. The Sabercats scored two second-quarter touchdowns before the Gladiators kicked a late field goal to reduce the halftime margin to 21-10.
