Trump’s Primary Influence

The Democrats haven’t said much lately about their shopping list of political positions. Rather, they seem bent on retaking Congress by tying Donald Trump as an albatross around the neck of the Republican Party. There is a risk, however, in taking that approach. To begin with, Trump’s approval rating is rising. According to the most recent Rasmussen poll he now enjoys 49% approval (which is a couple points higher than Obama experienced after his first year in office). The liberal networks and press have beaten up on the Donald daily since before he took office, so those numbers are astounding and indicate that it’s the networks’ reputation for impartiality which may be taking the worse hit.
