Years ago, because of a crusade I lead against illicit pornography establishments in the Pharr area, the Pharr PD made me an honorary Pharr police officer. In that capacity, I was invited to take part in a for credit law enforcement seminar in Dallas teaching tactics for combating the illegal sex industry. One of the things that became apparent during that seminar is that most (if not all) hard core outlets are run by members of organized crime. The mob imports drugs into the country, uses those drugs to enslave young women, uses the women for prostitution and creating pornography, and then uses part of those proceeds to fund additional drug purchases.
