I always thought I had a real driver’s license. You probably thought yours was real too. When I recently went on line, however, to renew it, I discovered my error. I could either pay a few dollars to get the kind of license I already had, or I could go through a much more extensive process to get a “real driver’s license”. The government is now issuing two grades of license. Why is that?
