A Response to Gun Violence

Once again we’ve seen some crazy or radical go on a killing spree with disastrous results. Once again, Democrat legislators and the press are calling for gun control legislation. Once again, probably there will be nothing done.
The one thing everybody agreed on after the Vegas shooting was that “bump stocks” should be banned. Legislation was introduced to do exactly that. Nothing, however, came of it. If we can’t even act when everyone and his brother seems to support a bill, what hope do we have of acting when legislators are divided on an issue.
