The Party That Cries Wolf

Democrats continue attacking Judge Brett Kavanaugh. The problem is, however, that they never change their play book. When Judge Thomas was being considered for the Supreme Court they accused him via Anita Hill of sexual harassment. He was confirmed anyway and has done an outstanding job over the years. When African American Herman Cain was running for president as a Republican, Democrats trotted out an assortment of women making similar accusations against him. When Cain dropped out of the race all the women mysteriously blended into the woodwork and weren’t heard from again. When Roy Moore ran for the Senate as a Republican, several women made accusations against him which were uncorroborated, very old, and often at odds with known facts. Judge Roy Moore was defeated and subsequently filed a lawsuit against the women for slander. When Donald J. Trump was running for president similar accusations were made (followed by demands for money).
