The New Budget

After a second brief government shutdown it appears we now have a two-year budget. Those who tend to see the glass as half full are elated. WE FINALLY HAVE A BUDGET AFTER EIGHT YEARS OF CONTINUING RESOLUTIONS UNDER OBAMA! Those who see the glass as half empty point to the disastrous increase in the deficit that the new budget will produce. We’re once again on the path toward yearly trillion-dollar deficits.
