Imagine for a moment that in two years Republicans retake the House and pass legislation requiring that the Federal Government contribute a hundred million dollars a year to the National Rifle Association's gun safety training program for children. The left's response might well be to take to the streets and start smashing windows. They would be livid. They might well declare they weren't going to pay another cent of taxes until the law was rescinded. It would be immoral in their view to give money to the government that would be used to fund what they considered to be their mortal enemy.

Those same leftists, however, have declared their intention to put conservatives and Christians in that same position by forcing them to go against their conscience and not only fund abortions but in some cases actually perform them.
