We now have a president who rules with a pen and a phone, and that’s causing disquiet across the country. The Supreme Court just ruled 9-0 that President Obama overstepped his authority when he made NLRB recess appointments when the Senate was not in recess. Now some 400 decisions by the National Labor Relations Board are therefore suspect and may have to be walked back. Even the two Supreme Court justices who Obama himself appointed voted against him. A liberal justice wrote the majority opinion.
