Clinton scandal anyone?

By Tom Haughey

Economic warfare has become one of the preferred weapons of the 21st Century. That was driven home last week by front pages of the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. All these publications are trumpeting stories of presumed or potential conflicts of interest, pay for play, and kickbacks to both the Clintons and their charity. The worst of the many such incidents involves the Russians wanting to buy a Canadian uranium mining company with massive holdings in United States mining assets. As the story goes, the head of the company as well as stockholders gave Clinton’s charity over a hundred million dollars in an effort to grease the wheels of government so the US would allow the sale.
