Truth Matters

On the campaign trail a little over two years ago, candidate Trump promised to remember the forgotten man and bring back manufacturing jobs to America. During the previous Democrat administration nearly a quarter million industrial jobs had been lost. In the decades prior to that, American manufacturing had been decimated by NAFTA as well as by the rise of China. During the last two years since President Trump took office, his policies have reversed the country’s direction and created nearly half a million new manufacturing jobs. Unfortunately, the liberal press has hardly mentioned the turnaround.

The Trump Administration is in talks with China which will either open up that country to American products or result in additional tariffs which will encourage additional sourcing of products here at home. That will result in an even bigger increase in American manufacturing. The only thing that could stop that is a Democrat push for re imposition of debilitating environmental regulations.
