ROBERTO SANCHEZ

DONNA – Roberto Sanchez, 52, died Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Sanchez had lived in Donna most of his life. He was a retiree from the City of Edinburg where he served 21 years.
He is preceded in death by his father, Armando Sanchez.
Roberto is survived by two children, Carolina Sanchez of Kingsville and Armando Isaac Sanchez of Katy; his mother, Lucia Sanchez of Donna; and four siblings, Everardo Sanchez, Sonia Jimenez, both of Edinburg, Sandra Govea, and Arminda Valle, both of Donna.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
