LEONARD D. BUTTS

ALAMO - Leonard D. Butts, 80, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg.
Born in Iola, Kansas, he had lived in Alamo for 14 years and was formerly of Pittsburg, Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Olin and Lulu Butts; five siblings, Ted Butts, Melvin Butts, LaVerne Butts, June Kidd and Clareen Barela.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Butts of Alamo; a son, Travis Butts of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, Clint Butts, Kyle Butts, Autumn Joy Patterson, Devonte Lofton, Heaven Hall; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Alamo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 1033 E. Bowie Ave., Alamo, TX 78516.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
