JOSE R. BORREGO
SAN JUAN – Jose R. Borrego, 79, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Adela Borrego; and nine siblings.
Mr. Borrego is survived by his wife, Carmen Borrego; six children, Enedelia Borrego (Jorge) Gonzalez, Esther Borrego, Leonor Borrego Gutierrez, Sofia Gonzalez, Jose Francisco Borrego, Isabel Borrego (Adrian) Garcia; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Francisco Borrego, Ernesto Borrego; and four sisters, Adela Rodriguez, Olivia Amaya, Guadalupe Garcia, Belia Villarreal.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
