PHARR – Israel Cantu Cantu, 85, died Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Lifecare South Hospital in McAllen. He is preceded in death by his wife, Oralia Garza. Mr. Cantu is survived by two sons, Israel Cantu and Rogelio (Jennifer) Cantu, both of Pasco, Washington; one daughter, Anna Garza Cantu of Pharr; eight grandchildren; and four siblings. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, today June 11, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
