GUADALUPE MARTINEZ
Guadalupe Martinez, 93, went home to our Lord Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at San Juan Nursing Home.
Born in San Luis Potosi, MX, she had lived in Alamo most of her life.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by her loving husband, Enrique Martinez Sr.; her daughter, Rosa Martinez; her parents Quirino and Maria Reyes; and her brother, Francisco Reyes.
She is survived by her five children, Beatriz Anguiano of Alamo, Enrique (Yolanda) Martinez Jr. of Edinburg, Herlinda (Francisco Romeo) Garza, Raul Martinez, both of Alamo, Reynaldo (June) Martinez of Mission; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Antonia Uvalle of Orlando, FL, Agustin Reyes of McAllen, Guadalupe Reyes of Alamo, Senaida Sandoval of Dimmitt, TX, Estela Murillo of Alamo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, April 27, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
