CANDELARIA “LALA” G. ESTEVIS EDINBURG
Candelaria “Lala” G. Estevis, 88, went home to our Lord Saturday, May 5, 2018, at San Juan Nursing Home.
Born in Santa Rosa, TX, Ms Estevis had lived in Edinburg all of her life, she was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin Estevis; and a brother, Jose Guadalupe Garcia.
Ms. Estevis is survived by her three children, Jesus (Elva) Estevis, Janie Estevis, both of Edinburg, Sylvia (John) Salazar of Alamo; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, May 7, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
