AUDOMARO E. SANDOVAL, SR.
PHARR – Audomaro E. Sandoval, Sr., 86, died Friday, February 23, 2018, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Audomaro was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was happiest while hunting and was ironically a pet lover. Most importantly, he loved his family far and beyond any other passion. Audomaro will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Federico and Anita Sandoval; two brothers, Leonel and Artemio Sandoval; and three sisters, Aurora Contreras, Brigida Sandoval, and Soila Rodriguez.
Mr. Sandoval is survived by his wife of 59 years, Berta V. Sandoval of Pharr; three children, Audomaro (Diana) Sandoval, Jr. of Austin, Eduardo Rene Sandoval of Pharr, Homero Xavier Sandoval of Austin; two brothers, Federico (Armandina) Sandoval, Sr. of Pharr, and Rene (Minerva) Sandoval of McAllen; and a sister, Sylvia Sandoval (Javier) De Leon of Pharr.
Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 93 of Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
