FRANCISCO DIAZ

SAN JUAN – Francisco Diaz, 59, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Mexico, he had lived in San Juan most of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Francisco enjoyed his weekends having family gatherings. He was very positive regardless of the circumstances, his positive energy and jokes will be greatly missed. He was an extremely hard worker and devoted his life to his family. Mr. Diaz is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Diaz. He is survived by his wife, Guillermina G. Diaz, of San Juan; his three children, Francisco Diaz Jr., Georgina Diaz, Ivan Diaz, all of San Juan; four grandchildren; four siblings; and his mother, Belen Garcia, of Pharr. Visitation was held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 29, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
