SAN JUAN – Jesus “Chuy” Aceves, 67, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his mother, Manuela Aceves. Mr. Aceves is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Aceves of Alamo; a daughter, Carmen (Gustavo) Gasca of Alamo; his father, Concepcion Aceves of San Juan; three sisters, Maria Elena (Fernando) Santillan, Alicia (Romeo) Jimenez, both of San Juan, and Carmen (Jose) Pedraza of Edinburg. Visitation was held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Jan. 29 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment followed at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
