PSJA: are 14 schools really underperforming?

In the old days, parents had a pretty easy way to keep track of how their offspring were doing in school: they looked at their child’s report card. It wasn’t rocket science. If the student was making D’s and F’s, something was clearly out of whack in the classroom. Either the child had no incentive to learn and/or the parents were of no support at home. Or the school campus and/or school district weren’t living up to their task, which was: educating students.
