Angelita Valdez, 93, died Saturday, January 3, 2015, at her residence in Donna. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reymundo Valdez: and a son, Carlos Valdez. Mrs. Valdez is survived by her sons, Reynaldo (Carmen) Valdez of Alamo, and Jose Luis Valdez of Donna; two daughters, Juanita (Vaughn) Cox, and Irma Luna both, of Donna; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A rosary was held Sunday, Jan. 4, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment followed at Donna City Cemetery. Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan
